1. New Paint

If your home has been the same color for few years, a fresh look will spruce it up for the holidays and beyond! You can repaint with the same colors, or be adventurous with a new color palette to give your home a contemporary vibe. Turn to the internet for inspiration, be adventurous and don't be afraid to try something new!

2. Video Doorbell

Tech out your home for the holidays with a video doorbell that notifies you when someone is at the door. It works with motion sensors, has a wide-angle camera, and some even come with a built-in microphone and speaker. No more surprises with this device!

3. Solar Roof

If your house is on the "nice list" and you want to splurge, consider a beautifully energy efficient solar roof. It's composed of a series of solar panels that look like regular roof shingles, but it makes electricity and saves you money. It also boosts your curb appeal with an extra "oomph" to make it stand out in the neighborhood.

4. New Windows

If your house feels drafty, you see condensation on your glass, or they look old and worn, new windows are a perfect item for your holiday wish list.

5. A Deep Clean

Sometimes all your home needs is a thorough cleaning and can be as simple as unleashing your inner Marie Kondo. Just declutter by getting rid of things you don't need. 

Then just dust, vacuum, or even shampoo your carpets to restore them to their former glory. You can do it yourself, hire  help, or even ask Santa for a new vacuum or a steam mop!
