Team Nakanishi is an organization that proudly works under the Hawaii Life banner.  We've worked for several brokerages over the years and loved them all.  The reasons that real estate agents choose brokerages is varied.  Sometimes it's the leadership, sometimes it's the desk fees or lack thereof.  Sometimes it comes down to the commission split.

What Hawaii Life offers is all of that and then some.  Their marketing is top notch.  You may have seen their very own house hunting shows on HGTV.  In fact, I was lucky enough to be in a couple.  My 15 minutes of fame (times 2) and it was a lot of fun.

But in addition to great marketing, leadership, and support is their willingness to give back to the community in many ways but especially through their foundation called the Hawaii Life Charitable Fund.  Every year, they invite non-profit organizations statewide to apply to the fund for a grant.

This year's theme is called "Caring for our Keiki" and there is currently an all-call for 501(c)(3) organizations in good standing to apply for a $5000 grant in order to help our keiki (our kids).

Team Nakanishi, in support of Hawaii Life's theme is also finding ways to care for our keiki here on the Big Island.  More about that in another blog.

If you are part of an organization who works with youth in any capacity, please consider applying for this grant.  And please pass along this information to anyone else you think could benefit.

Get the word out!  Let's care for our keiki.
