Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, one of April's favorite jobs was working at a ski resort where she met her husband. Now, the two of them live here in East Hawai`i where the only snow they’ll find is atop Mauna Kea.

As part of Team Nakanishi, April is busy working behind the scenes before your home is even listed on the market and preparing the required documents such as tax records, permits, title reports, etc. She coordinates with various parties to make sure your escrow stays on track, and she does it all with a smile on her face!

April studied Art and Architectural History, and Human Development at the University of Utah, and even worked in the field of accounting for many years. A job she jokingly describes as “glamorous”.

When she’s not working, April loves reading, spending time with her husband, hiking and exploring the island, “I also love goin down to the ocean cliffs at the end of my neighborhood to sit and and look for turtles, whales and dolphins, and relax to the sight and sound of the crashing waves”, explains April. With all the beauty our island has to offer, April is certainly in the right place!
